Greetings;  Info on and a very Tentative (3rd Me.) Schedule for the Conway Celebration
 
MEALS:
 
3rd Maine's company cook will prepare ONLY one meal for this event. 
It will be dinner on Saturday and $5.00 check made out to Rick Bray and mail to:

Rick is only providing a limited number of meals (max of 50).
SO,  please reserve your meal by Aug 28th.
Your mailed check ($5.00) is your reservation and must be in Rick's hand by Aug 28th.
 
(3rd Maine's) TENTATIVE SCHEDULE:
Friday
  • Reenacters can set-up camp after 4:pm

Saturday

  • Revile 5:30am - Field Music
  • Breakfast 6:30am (Rick.. can do???)
  • Parade form up (TBA)
  • LUNCH (period haversack style picnic lunch)
  • Camp open to the public (1pm ish)
  • Opening flag ceremony with Field Music
 
Throughout the day, living history show & tell camplife displays
    • Drill, Firing Demo 2-2:45pm & 4-4:45pm
    • if possible Field Music plays at 1-1:3030pm & 3-3:30

 

  • SUPPER 5:30pm (Rick... can do???)
  • Evening Flag ceremony with Field Music
  • Camp closed to the public (7:30pm)
Sunday
  • Revile 6:30am - Field Music
  • Breakfast 7:30am (Rick.. can do???)
  • Camp open to the public 9am
  • Opening Flag ceremony
 
Throughout the day, living history show & tell camplife displays
    • Field Music 10-10:30am & 12-12:30pm
    • Drill & Firing Demo 10:30-11am & 12:30-1

 

  • LUNCH at 11:30am (period haversack style picnic lunch)
  • Closing Flag ceremony 1:pm
  • closed to the public at (1:15pm)
 
Dirigo Vintage Base Ball Match at 2:15pm (location TBD)
(The base ball match will depend on how many Dirigo players can make it. It goes without saying anyone who wishes to participate is more than welcome. This whole event looks like a good opportunity for an overnight. Sounds like a bunch of fun!!! --Mark Rohman)
