The parade starts out EXACTLY at 9:00am on Saturday morning.  We need to form up and be at the staging area by 8:30 (it's only about 200 yards away from our campsite)...  John Wierzbicki will be there setting up around noon and can be reached on his cell phone (577-3268) if you have any trouble finding the place.

  • 6-8 Reveille, breakfast, cleanup
  • 8 Form up, weapons safety inspection, depart for parade
  • 9-11:30 Parade (Parade starts at 9 on the dot)
  • 11:30-12:30 Lunch
  • 12:30 Firing Demonstration
  • 1:00 Children’s Recruitment
  • 2-2:30 Marching/Drilling Demonstration
  • 3:00 Formation firing
  • 4-5:00 Period clothing
  • 6-7:00 Supper

Directions

  • Take exit #86 (Sabattus) on the Turnpike. From the south turn Right, from the North turn left.
  • Travel approximately 7 miles until the road ends at a traffic light on Rt 196.
  • Turn left and go ½ mile. The road will make a right angle turn to the right. At the beginning of the turn, turn left onto School Street (which is just before a big white church that has been converted into an antique store). You end up actually going straight.
  • Turn left onto Berry Street (2nd street on left). This is just before another big white church (the United Methodist Church). Park in the parking lot behind the church and you are right next to where we are encamped.
